| Joyce Ann Massey Key Having been introduced to art at a young age, her mother,
sisters and cousins are all well-known artists, Joyce Ann Massey Key began
painting professionally in the 1960's. Joyce Ann is a member of the New Mexico Watercolor Society (Southern Chapter), Mesilla Valley Gallery, Las Cruces Arts and Crafts Association and The Friday Painters. She recently entered and was accepted in six juried
shows and won first place in the Las Cruces Arts and Crafts Association’s
May 2002 show. Having raised three children, Joyce Ann now plans to
devote much of her time to art endeavors Art collectors from many states have invested in her work and decorated their homes using it as the central point of interest. She has studied with many well known artists, from Texas
and New Mexico; Louis Ocepek, Fred Chilton, Bill Bissell, Frederick Taubes,
Earline Barnes and others. She loves working in all media. Joyce Ann Massey Key was born and raised in Denton, Texas.
Her parents are the late Mr. And Mrs. Mack Massey, Sr., automobile dealer
of El Paso, Texas. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education
from NTSU She taught school and worked in real estate for many years.
She is a partner with her husband, Jack Key, and son, Kevin Key of Jack
