Betty Sweeney
Betty is a member of the New Mexico Watercolor Society. Her work inclues a wide range of subject matter rendered in oil and watercolor.Betty has always been active in community activites and art events. She received a BA in Art Education at Framingham State in Massachusetts, where she studied at DeCordova Museum School and completed a Rhode Island School of Design Certificate Program for Interior Design.
Since moving to Las Cruces in 1997, she has participated in classes and workshops and is currently exploring on-site (plein air) painting. Betty's studio/gallery in her home is open by appointment.
